I am currently a Play Session Coordinator working for a Family Day Care service in Brisbane, Australia. I facilitate these sessions with a group of Educators and the children in their care.
I began teaching in 1988 and spent most of my teaching career working with children in their first year of formal schooling in New Zealand and Australia.
I have since completed further study in Australia and work with 0-5 year old children. I have also recently completed my Wonder Based Teaching Certification with Sally Haughey.
Relationships and connection with the children are key drivers in my work with children. I believe in the children learning through play and set up my environment with these beliefs in mind.
